Dusk to Dawn: Reading Horror and Weird Fiction
Welcome to Dusk to Dawn, Reading Horror and Weird Fiction! We post every two weeks discussing novels and short stories from old to new, the literary and the pulp. We look at tropes, themes, and plot points of our current read, and mention what we’ve been reading in between episodes. If it scares us or makes us squirm, we’re on it.
There are plentiful spoilers, so read the episode’s book first if you want to avoid them. Tell your friends about us and enjoy the show!

Discussing The Lamb by Lucy Rose
A young girl and her mother eat stray humans in this folk horror coming of age cannibalism story depicting a mother’s undying love… for meat. During a snowstorm, the stray Eden arrives at their rustic cottage, but this is no paradise in disguise. As the family dynamic shifts with her arrival, will Eden be the catalyst that brings them closer together, or will her interference drive mother and daughter further apart?
